Internet connection keeps dropping off
Hi,
Recently the internet connection via wifi is constantly dropping off. My son cannot play games online because the internet continuously drops off, and he gets booted from the games. If I watch my phone, it will keep toggling between connected and disconnected all the time. My son uses a windows 8 machine, and I have a samsung 6 phone. I have reset the router many times, but that does not seem to help any. Any suggestions??

What kind of router do you have and how is it configured?
Also, does it only effect wireless?
Sounds like wireless interference of some kind. Getting interference with anything else? Cordless phones/cell phones/etc?

We see the same issue here. Cox has replaced the UBEE router twice, they moved the router from our TV room to the computer room and now all PCs are hardwired. Still we loose every thing sporadically. We have a Samsung phone, IPAD, two PCs and a printer and all loose the network connection. We have upgraded to Windows 10 and the PCs still loose the connection. Cox has been out to our house six times since January. They say everything is OK each time they come out this issue is sporadic and when they are here do not see the issue.
