After 2 months of looking and working with your techs at least 10 times, I found that Cox does not work with Windows Edge. So
I kept looking. Eurika. I found Settings in my webmail and I answered all of the questions, changed my password and I
thought I had my settings ok with Cox. No. Your message keeps coming???????
Why?
I had an unscrupulous scammer scheming as a microsoft pc fixer which ended up using my webmail. Please help.
Charlene

What problem do you want help with, Charlene? What service of Cox does not work with Edge? Webmail? Their website? Something else? The message you quote in the thread title normally comes from Windows 10 Mail, not Edge or Cox webmail. If you need help because some scammer claiming to be from Microsoft scammed you, there's not much anyone here can do. I suggest you enlist the aid of either a friend / family member knowledgeable in computers or a paid tech support service ... Thoroughly check out your system for malware and change any passwords you may have.

It sounds like you have some type of malware or trojan on your computer and I'd recommend scanning the system to make sure it's clean. Also, change your password for your email again after you've scanned the system.

Derrick, a quick question. When a customer makes a non-technical post, it is closed with a statement like: "The purpose of the Cox Support Forum is to allow customers to discuss technical topics related to residential Cox services with other customers." Why is it then, many times, a Cox Mod feels like they must duplicate a customer's recommendation. For example, the last sentence of my response was "Thoroughly check out your system for malware and change any passwords you may have." Your post was "... I'd recommend scanning the system to make sure it's clean. Also, change your password for your email again after you've scanned the system."
Is this really a customer to customer forum or do the Mods feel they must respond to everything, even if it's just to duplicate an answer already provided? If so, does this really add to the discussion?

What problem, epd85018? Webmail doesn't work? Webmail won't work with the Edge browser? A problem with Windows 10 Mail client? Some other problem with Cox website or internet service? I don't understand the OP's problem so I'm not sure what the "same problem" is.

More on topic with the original post, this sounds to me like it may be a Windows 10 Mail issue. If you're seeing notifications in the Windows 10 notification bar that suggests that something installed and configured on the PC to run in the background is experiencing an issue. My first guess would be an incorrect password or server settings.
