I'm having to reset my cable modem daily....

..and it's getting pretty frustrating. I have a Motorola modem, 3-4 years old, and it pretty well needs resetting daily now. Any hints or suggestions? Is it just old, should I swap it out for a new one, any advice will be appreciated.
