I NEED HELP PLEASE! MLB Extra Innings - NO HIGH DEFINITION - Tucson Area

Question:  Kindly requesting clarification why I do not receive any HD Extran Innings Channels

Problem Background:

I have spoke with three different level 1 tech reps and one level two tech rep in the past 24hrs regarding the following problem:

I initially purchased MLB extra innings last evening (30 May)  based on the fact I would have access to all the out of market games and in HD.   The CSR (named Sicily) told me that the regional games would be subject to blackout which I acknowledged and accepted.  The CSR gave me access right away, and unfortunately, I didn't get any HD channels...only 671-679.  I couldn't reach the HD channel of 1671-1679 as my cable box wouldn't recognize them.  I did all this with the CSR still on the phone.  The CSR had tech support on the line as well and  neither was able to trouble-shoot the issue, but the CSR promised to call back the next morning.

The next morning (31 May), a different CSR (no name provided) left me a voicemail and stated the problem was fixed.   I appreciated the follow up call; however, the issue was not reconciled. I then called another CSR on 31 May in the late afternoon and was eventually connected to the tech support line again.

I spent 30 minutes on the phone with the tech rep and she was unable to reconcile the issue.  She checked to see if I lived in Douglas or Wickenburg AZ which supposedly don't get HD channels are "dead zones" for any real access to Cox services.  This tech rep then requested the support of a level 2 technical rep.  I sat on hold for another 20 minutes waiting for the level 2 tech rep and the level 1 rep eventually asked me to hang up and they would call me back in an hour or two.  To my frustration, I received no call, so I called back that evening of 31 May.  The next tech rep that I spoke to explained to me that he (named Michael) believed that Extra Innings HD was not available in my area (Vail, AZ - zip code 85641).  I was surprised to hear this as I live about 10miles from Tucson city limits...my location isn't exactly a rural area or a place that would have limited Cox capability.

Can some one with Cox technical expertise please explain to me what is going on?  I've been a customer for ~6.5yrs, always paying my bill on time.  This experience feels very "bait and switch" like to me and I'm seriously considering canceling my entire Cox cable package and internet service due to it (switch to DSL and DirectTV).
