How to filter OnDemand preview content
Can someone explain to me the logic (or lack of) that prevents me from being able to filter the OnDemand preview content? Since OnDemand is making such an attempt to find shows that "I might like", how come it is not looking at that to see my 2 children are not interested in horror movies. It is completely unacceptable to be showing previews like that, especially when my search history primarily consists of cartoons. I can almost guarantee that the previews are not appropriate for all audiences, but there they are anyway. So Cox, where's the common sense here?

The suggestions are based off of the shows that you watch. You can alter the selections by telling the box that you do not like the show. This more times you tell the box that you like or dislike a show, the more accurate the suggestions will be.
Also, you may want to consider making multiple user profiles for the cable box. This will allow the children to have their own suggestions without seeing the suggestions of other users. So if one user likes to watch more adult orientated titles, the box will not show suggestions to the other profiles based on these selections.

This is not the "recommended for me" section (that section is incredibly annoying in it's own right). This is regarding to the movie previews that begin as soon as i hit on demand. I have never searched for horror movies, and neither has anyone in my family. it's just not our style movie. The previews that play are completely independent of my search history and completely inappropriate for the time of day that we are looking to do on demand shows (early evening).

that is exactly what i am talking about. While i'm aware that these previews are no different than what is shown on normal tv, i have no way of hiding the content while searching for shows, so far, i have seen previews for a home break in movie, ouija, and sex tape. There is no hiding the plot of these movies and since i'm sitting there looking for shows for my kids, they are watching as well. i take responsibility for the shows my kids watch when i actually have control over it, and in this case, i don't have control.
