I've noticed several others asking similar questions about activating the History Channel App on either Xbox, Roku, or Apple TV. While I understand there may be a cost to Cox for providing this service, I find it hard to believe a major cable/internet/phone company would not participate. Even if the individuals wishing to subscribe were charged a small fee to do so, it would be better to offer this service rather than blocking it to all.
Obviously, it can happen. Please allow those of us who wish to watch this channel do so.
Thank you.

Well I have to say I'm disappointed on this matter. I just noticed this afternoon that the history Chanel is on my Apple TV. After getting excited and attempting to watch a show I was let down. Apparently cox is not on the list of providers. This is not cool. I pay extra per month for this Chanel. If there is a option to watch it on my Apple TV I should be able to do so. There are many other providers offering this service to their customers. So I think cox need to get with the program.

I have submitted a request to our programming team on your behalf.

Renee, please add in my request as well. Cox Communications seems to be the only major cable provider not included in the list of providers, when usually Cox is the first to be included for other channels through apple tv, such as Disney, ESPN, etc.
Also, isn't the History channel featured within the Contour app? If so, there seems to be no logical reason why it wouldn't be included through channels within apple tv, as both are streaming services.
Thank you for your help.
