Free Internet Speed Upgrade?

I haven't seen anything about this, can you post a link to the news article?  Thanks.

There were speed increases a bit over a year ago, but I'd need to see the news article.

Here is article excerpt that mentions speed upgrades by AT&T, Cox, upcoming Ozark Electric high-speed Internet:

For some reason they are interpreting the speed upgrades that started a while back as being implemented now.  Cox upgraded premier to 150 and ultimate to 300 - preferred went to 50.  So if those are the speeds you are getting, you've already been upgraded.

I have had 50 Mbps for a few years. I am hoping for 75 but it doesn't look good.
