Fast forward not working on some programs
I regularly record my favorite programs and watch them later. For the past few weeks,when I watch Parenthood, the DVR doesn't fast forward past the commercials.It has been happening consistently on Parenthood. If I play around with it I can sometimes slowly make it move, but it doesn't show what I am going past. So I have to guess where I am. I suspect Cox is doing it so I will be forced to watch commercials. Perhaps the advertisers are paying extra for this to happen. I pay a lot of money for cox service. I have a lot of choices as to how I will watch programs. If they force me to watch commercials, Im going to abandon Cox in favor of other paid programming like Netflix. Does anyone else have this problem?

I've never had this problem. What leads you to believe that Cox is causing the problem? I 'll record "Parenthood" and see what happens.

The reason I think this is because Parenthood is the only program doing this. And it is consistent every week.

That would make me think it's the producers of "Parenthood", or even NBC. What leads you to suspect it is Cox?
[BTW, I notice nobody else noticed it.]
