Over the past few months, any email sent from my Cox address with an attachment is 1) sent multiple times, but the attachment is useless on the other end, and 2) I receive multiple emails that the email was rejected by the various recipients. Emails without attachment go through fine. Attachments have primarily been pdfs and jpgs. Any thoughts?

I would start by asking what do you use to send email and how big are the attachments in terms of megabyte size?

We have consistently used Outlook Express for at least the past 5 years, and noticed this problem since about March. The attachments have been a single scanned page saved as a pdf file; .jpg file of 1 photo; and a powerpoint file. These are not big files by any means. Regular emails go through without a problem.

Are you getting any kind of error message stating that the messages were rejected and why? Something else to try is disabling any anti-virus/spam software that may be filtering your emails to see if that makes a difference.

Yes, I get multiple rejections for each email; the latest ones have are " Domain does not accept fragmented messages - psmtp"

It sounds like you may have your email client configured to split large emails into multiple parts when sending. Try following this article to disable that feature and see if that resolved your issue:

I actually found that exact info by clicking through everything on the email toolbar, and increased the size of allowed attachments, and it worked. Now that I see your response, and the option of disabling it entirely, I am going to disable it . Thanks for your support!
