I have a motorola DCT6416 III, that is displaying an E607 followed by hunt Fr 1. Tried unplugging from the power source and same thing.

Fr 1 means it's failing to lock into its upstream frequency of 75.25 MHz.
E607 I'm not familiar with, but believe it's related to the Fr 1.

When you unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in, did the DVR display any other codes or seem to be scrolling through a countdown of some sort? Do you get any on-screen errors?
