DVR with Basic Cable

I currently have Advanced TV ($65.92) which includes DVR service and DVR rental. Also, the Sports and Information add-on ($10)

We love the DVR capabilities, but have way more channels that we need. Is it possible to downgrade to the Basic Package including a DVR rental?

IIRC, Advanced TV is a requirement for DVR service (or the Sports and Information Pak.)

I believe you can add a DVR to the Cox TV Economy Package. (Plus fees of $8.50/mo, + $11.99/mo)

Am I wrong on that?

You can have Economy TV with DVR service. Also, you don't need to have the Sports and Information Pack to keep Advanced TV. I can review the account to see what's the best option. Please email me at cox.help@cox.com with the service address and a link to this thread.

IIRC, no. You are not wrong. But TV Economy already requires rental of the $8.50 STB. Again, IIRC.
