DVR not recording show because not in the guide - FALSE

I am in Oklahoma City. My DVR is a 9865, 6 ch, using the original contour. I record every new instance of CBS Sunday Morning. It was scheduled from 0800 to 0930 this morning on Channel 709, KWTV-HD. Went to watch it about 1030. NOT THERE! Checked Missed Recordings and it was listed as "Program not found in the guide." I could not check the contour guide because it does not display any shows earlier than the current time. Went online to KWTV.com and Titan TV and found it in both at 0800 on 709.

This is not the first time this has happened. It is the first time that I was really unhappy about it enough to post on this forum. I have been a lurker on this forum for a long time. It has become apparent that Cox deflects the blame to the subcontractor who produces the guide as opposed to holding their feet to the fire.
