My cisco dvr Model-explorer-8642HDC, has been tiling & freezing lately & last night when I deleted a show the dvr list got stuck & after reseting the box & doing it through the cox website, I got a AI09 error. Then I did it again & lost of my recordings, even my series manager & it only mentioned 1 missed recording, & now it won't record anything, there is a 55.2 rating when I ran a cable box test in settings. Is there a way I can get my recordings back.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this. Recordings cannot be recovered once deleted. I believe I've located your account. The signal isn't quite where I'd like it. I see you have a tech scheduled. I think that's the best next step. Let us know how your appointment goes.
Thank you,

Thanks for the reply. I did talk to someone & they didn't say i had a weak signal, if u want to u can fix it for me there, also I am getting a new box today. I have a record of the shows i lost, becaues i record a lot, so i will use online & on demand to see them.

We aren't able to make changes to the signal level from the office. Only a field technician can adjust that onsite. How did your visit go?
