drv cable box freezes with the tv guide as well

I'm addicted to my DVR, so I understand how frustrating it is when DVR recordings freeze or won't play. It's possible that the DVR isn't getting a strong enough signal. Are there any splitters on the coax cable that connects the DVR to the cable outlet?

Found out the Cox contour was built with defective hard drives, instead of replacing the hard drives they have been working on a new system they could come out with to take care of the problem. The new and improved non-contour like device that is due to be launched within the month. So they rented us defective equipment that they had us reboot sometimes 3 times a day and charged us to maintain the defective equipment that did not do what it was advertised to do. I saved programs to watch for my surgery recovery and come to find out that the HD is hit and miss. Freezes up after 10 or 15 minutes of play then I reboot and it freezes up in the same spot when I try again and have to delete the program. They wonder why they lose business to android,apple, and other carriers. And they say they are saving us money by bundling.

What???  You think Apple and Android are in competition with Cox? Did that surgery happen to be brain?

Say it enough, and it will become true. Is that what you're doing? First of all, Contour has no hard drives. Contour is IPG firmware/middleware which is used on a few Cisco DVRs leased by Cox. Those DVRs contain the HDDs, not Contour. So, what in the **** is a "non-contour like device" ?? Who told you about it. BTW, one post is normally sufficient.
