Dropped recordings on the new DVR record 6
DVR record 6: has anyone experienced dropped recordings with the new record 6? I have already had one box replaced but still have dropped recordings. When accessing the DVR it appears that the program has recorded but when I go to watch nothing happens.

If you look thru the answers to the 2nd question on this forum (Introducing Contour) you will see that many people experienced the missed recordings. The problem seems to have disappeared for most users so we figured that Cox fixed something. Read thru that thread and you can compare your "dropped" problem with others. I lost about 6 recordings in the first 2 weeks of using my new Record 6. I did not change the box but the problem is gone.
