download speed
I have preferred speed 50mps downloads I realize that is max speed but when I use speed check it is usually between 4 and 9mps isn't that real slow I have reset modem and router and tried hardwired connection same results cox has been no help

Ok, I don't know which speed check you are using - I recommend test on all 3 of these to get an overall idea of your speed:
If this gives you low speeds, check hardwired from computer to modem. Also, can you tell us which router and modem you are using?
