Does Cox support any wifi cable modem routers with an RJ11 phone jack?
My antiquated Cox-supplied modem (it's an Arris, but unsure of the model#), is on its way out, not allowing for internet connection nor digital phone service. Tech support said there was multiple package loss, and therefore it needed to be replaced. I was told to get a wifi cable modem router but have had no luck finding one with an RJ11 phone jack for my digital phone (part of my bundle through Cox). while I don't use the home phone much, I am still paying for the service so figured I might as well hook it up. I bought a Nexgear C3700 - but again, no phone jack. Any ideas? Will Cox provide me with a separate modem for just my phone line or will that be yet again another charge on an already outlandish bill?

First, to answer your question; yes. Check out the Arris TG2472. But you can't buy it, only rent it. Phone MODEMS are provided free if you have phone service, however phone GATEWAYS (as in Wifi) cost money. I don't know how much because I have never rented one.
Second, packet loss isn't usually caused by equipment failure. Was your last gateway a DPQ3925? If so, I would start with looking at the signal levels or having a Cox person look remotely. Its not THAT old of a gateway. Still approved up to Preferred.

I agree with Tecknowhelp. The cable modems which also have VOIP phone jacks are not available to the general public. One will be given to you by COX if you subscribe to their phone service.
Regarding packet loss, your cable modem might be having issues but most likely the culprit is SNR (signal noise ratio) levels. The diagnostic of and fix are too numerous and complicated to post here. A technician can determine your SNR levels and if a fix can be done. They are much faster than you and I trying to do this part ourselves.
