Felt like posting this...hopefully you guys can figure this out I’m pretty sure you are all familiar with this. Since its been posted on your site since 2009 with customers owning any Motorola brand modem connected to your service.

Modem is not on a splitter...it is connected directly to the computer...and all my connections are tight... do the usually mumbo jumbo reset stuff and still nothing...been happening for the past three weeks.  One tech came out didn’t know what was wrong...checked my signals at the port said they were bad...went outside then came back in ten minutes later and said wow signals are good now.  He said he did nothing....so if I had and further problems to contact cox...well still having problems...I have an Moto sb6141....and looks like I’m not the only person having this problem....I switched to you guys from Verizon fios unfortunately do the no availability...sadly...wished I still had their service...never had a problem...also is this what I’m really paying for???? Please fix this....I’m an online student and this is really hindering my capabilities as a student.

P.S. if you ask me about power levels I will be pissed...power levels are ** when it disconnects and goes through its reboot, once it establishes connection again...power levels are normal....it’s all signal problems...wished I checked forums before switching to this service...and my modem is brand new...second modem for that matter as well...so don’t even ask that question either.

I do see what appears to be an issue with the upstream power levels when I try to poll the modem.  It's currently offline so I can't see more but it would appear something is making it difficult for the modem to communicate upstream back to us.  This is something the tech coming out should be able to resolve.  Should an issue be found at the tap the tech would open a ticket with our maintenance team to troubleshoot further.
