Displaying calling number on TV

We have cox phone, internet and TV and used to have the calling number dismayed on the TV when a call to our home phone came in, it has disappeared.  How do we get the service back?

Hi, first thing I would do is check to make sure it is still set to "On" under your settings: Toggle Off / On the Caller ID setting in the program guide: If Caller ID is On, toggle it Off, then back On. If Caller ID is Off, turn it On.

We are having the same issue. Caller ID is On, Duration is set at 15 seconds and Banner location is set to bottom. It used to work and then just stopped. Also, calls just randomly starting going direct to voice mail with no ring and no listing on caller ID. After a week or so, phone now rings. Didn't change any of the settings .

Sounds like you were experiencing technical issues with your phone. During that time, were you able to place outgoing calls? Now that the calls are coming through, is the caller ID now visible on the TV? Is the ID available on the phones? Please advise so that we can assist you with resolving this issue.

Yes, I think we were able to make calls although I don't know for sure. We don't use the house phone to make outgoing calls very often. No, the caller ID still isn't visible on the tv but is on the phone. I've called tech support, too. They've tried and haven't been able to get it to work. We are getting a new DVR tomorrow so I'm hoping that'll solve things. We'll see...

I wanted to follow-up with you in regards to this issue. You've mentioned getting your DVR replaced, are you still experiencing this issue with the caller ID not appearing on the TV with the new DVR?

thanks for the follow-up. It's more than I've received from tech support! Yes, caller I'd is showing up now. We seem to be all set. Thanks again!!
