Discovery Fit and Health Channel
Hello. The Discovery Fit and Health channel used to be on channel 132 here in Northwest Arkansas, but it has disappeared from the lineup. What happened to it? That was one of my favorites! Thanks.

"Discovery Fit and Heath" is being replaced by "Discovery Life" on 1/15. Many new programs will appear on "Discovery Life." Cox has also changed the channel number for this channel. In what city/state do you live? This was announced in Cox's bills a couple of months ago:
"On or about December 17, 2014 Cox will make the following
changes to its lineup in the San Diego Service area: "Discovery Fit &
Health" will move from channel 327 to channel 107 and from the Sports and Info Pak to the Bonus Pak."
The channel in your area will probably differ.

I live in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It was channel 132 but not sure what channel it will move to.

Look at your past 2 or 3 bills. The PDF versions have all of the channel moving info.
Or, look for the channel in the low 100s. Start with channel 102, 104, 107, 108, and 109.

As Domino stated, Discovery Communications changed the name of the "Discovery Fit and Heath" channel to "Discovery Life", now found on channel 104 in your area. In Omaha, Discovery Life can now be found on channel 103.

On my Bill in November it said this Channel Discovery life was suppost to be added here in CT. in HD on Dec. 17th on CH. 1143 but it hasn't come in yet, also it's labeled in the Channel Lineup. Did Cox change there mind or is it still coming?

Discovery Life is on channel 143 in standard Definition and 1143 in HD in the CT area. Do you have a cable box or a card? You may need to reset your equipment in order to allow your line-up to refresh.

Thanks for your reply, I called cox & talked to 3 different people & 2 said we should have the channel, 2 times we got disconnected, I reset all 3 stand alone contour boxes & still don't have CH. 1143, just 143, we have the other channels that are new like #1082 for example. it just jumps to ch. 1145. Also when I reset the box after cox did on there end I unplugged them for 15 sec. & plugged them back in.

You can if you want but I'm not at home until 6 tonight. You can reset them & I can let you know the results later. Also my dad spoke again with cox & they said the channel is not available so I'm not sure what is going on since the bill said it was coming & the channel lineup for Meriden, CT. has it listed.

I had my mom check and no channel, just skips from 1141 to 1145, I'm not sure what to do next. We did have to unplug the boxes again because of an error that came up I think it was A-109.

Are you having this problem on all TVs or just one? Is the cable straight from the wall to the receiver or is there a splitter?

all 3 cable boxes, I think I have a splitter.
