Disconnects when downloading large files from Microsoft Technet
I have been having a problems downloading files from my Microsoft Technet account the last few months. In the last month I have tried to download Windows 8 and Server 2012 software and the download usually starts out okay, but some where between 12% and 30% of the download complete the download manager begins disconnecting and reconnecting. Eventually, it quits altogether. This problem seems to only happen when I'm using my Cox account at home. I have had no problems downloading from my work network or my friends DSL network. Also, the download speeds from cox seem slow (1mbs) on a premiere account.
I have tested this with both my internal network and my laptop connected directly to the Surfboard Modem with the same results.
According to the Microsoft tech support the problem is on the Cox side causing the disconnects.
Has anyone seen this issue and has been able to solve this issue?

Also, I forgot to mention that all other sites (non Microsoft Technet or MSDN sites) download at higher rates without disconnects and internet performance is good.
