Disconnect Phone Service

Call Cox Customer Service and tell them what you want to do.

You don't know how to use your phone service to call Cox, and ask them to disconnect it..?

If you can't use a phone for some reason, you can also return the phone modem to a Cox store and they should also be able to disconnect your phone service. Where it becomes more complicated is if you use that phone modem for internet too.
