data usage

I stumbled across a data usage meter on the Cox website. I have internet preferred and it says that I have 250GB of data usage allowed each month. I have never before seen specifications on the amount of data available for each of the internet plans. Is it on my bill or is it shown on each of the internet services?

As of now Cox is not charging extra for data usage overrides. However, do we really think that they will in the future. Think about it. The cell phone companies charge for data also and if you use more you pay for it. Just another way that the cable companies will eventually find a way to screw the consumer.
