I see the barker on ch 95 saying that C-Span is now on digital channel 95. But it isn't. I have multiple digital TVs, and none of them see it on 95 or anywhere else, even after multiple re-scannings. Have you just not gotten around to actually putting the signal up yet?

you will need a cable card or a box to get it.

Not good enough.
The barker slide says that a TV with a digital tuner will get C-Span on digital channel 95. Either the slide is wrong and needs to be replaced or your answer is wrong.
Which is it?

do you get other digital channels on the tv? Maybe Cox in your area ran into problems getting the channel working.

I get at least a dozen digital channels, including both the hi-defs for the broadcast networks as well as the subchannels that some of them carry.
This is why I asked the question. Why can I get all of these channels but not C-soan?
Judging from your reply, you are not local. Whom do I call locally to see what the story is?

Perhaps this is area-relevant?
In San Diego we have had C-span on basic cable for years. For us, it is on Channel 21. To get the C-Span2 and C-Span3 we need the advanced cable and our box.
I like to watch the House (basic) & Senate (advanced) live on C-Span, and I go straight to C-Span (basic) for all the presidential debates. That way I don't have to deal with the commentators trying to explain to me what I just saw & heard for myself.

Local to where? You haven't said where you are from. This is a national forum.
Do a fresh channel scan on your TV. C-SPAN will show up somewhere. Cox is just slow to get it assigned to its new digital location.

I quickly decided this was not a local forum when all I got from the Cox "experts" was a stock "you need a cable box" reply.
Also, the fact that it took more than two weeks to get this response indicates that you can count the number of people on it on the fingers of two fingers.
I'm surprised this is not truly a national problem, due to the way cox moves channels around at random. Maybe nobody else has digital service?
I've re-scanned so many freaking times, I've almost worn out the remotes on the *digital* receivers I have. C-span actually did show up on my local channel 112.5 for about a day, and now it is gone again. Who knows where?
At any rate, I quickly decided this forum was useless and stopped paying attention to it until I got this message today, and I expect to go back into hibernation now.
