cox tv connect

Does any one else use cox tv connect on their computer?

Up until 2 days ago, I was able to use the app for the cox tv connect on my pc and I could watch about 25 live channels. Suddenly, on Sunday it stopped working and cox says they no longer allow the app to work on computers. Any one know why????
