Providing any television service without a separate subscription is not an intentional feature of Internet service, and you've probably been receiving them through the Internet-only filter that should be installed outside because their channel frequencies may be near those used by the Internet service. Sorry for any confusion.
Future audits in the area, channel remappings, and upgrades to service filters at the tap where service connects may indeed block out more channels.
However, customers with an active cable TV subscription in most areas will generally receive all their HD local channels and sometimes a few other channels like community access channels in clearQAM, alongside the regular analog lineup.

This is great! Somebody not paying for TV service complaining about losing TV channels.

I Am referring to the Local TV stations like ABC, NBC, PBS, Etc via the CLEARQAM NOT the digital cable channels. Maybe you should slow down and read the post more closely next time!

Indeed, that was also what I was referring to. In order for us to support any form of TV reception, including local channels, in analog or clear QAM, a home must have at least a subscription to Cox TV Starter, formerly known as Limited. Providing any form of channel reception without a TV package on an account, even local channels, is not intentional. I'm sorry if you had any other impression.

The ClearQAM channels ARE digital channels. The channels such as HBO, etc., are just encrypted, that's all. Nevertheless, your ability to watch the ClearQAM local channels without paying for even "Starter" TV service is/was Cox's oversight, and apparently temporary.
