For my Cox Mini Box (Cisco DTA 250HD) what signal is it pushing to the TV?. Is the max it can push to a UHD 4k TV 1080 60p? And what's the signal the box is receiving and converting and is the box upscaling the signal? Thanks.

The most the Cox minibox will output is 1080i. The input depends on the channel, FOX broadcasts in 720p, ABC in 1080i. No networks are broadcasting in 4k or UHD yet anyway. You may be able to get streaming 4k content from Netflix and some movies over satellite but not much more. Content is a real problem for UHD adoption.

It depends on the broadcast format of each TV network. As AllenP mentioned, the best output format you'll find using a mini box 1080i. However, only a handful of the major networks are broadcasting in 1080i.
