Cox Mini Box code for Bose remote?

I have a Cox Mini Box (Model number URC-2220-R) and would like to program my Bose universal remote to bring up the cable guide on the tv. I have tried the Cox code included with the Bose paperwork but it did not work.

URC-2220-R is the remote, not the box. Do you have a Cisco or Evolution mini box?

Also which Bose remote do you have? If this one, have you tried codes:

02746, 00858,
01982, 02345,
02517, 02589

JohnM,

Did you happen to try the codes Tecknowhelp has provided above?

Tried all codes but none worked so I could bring up the Channel guide.  It does allow me to turnoff the TV and mini box as well as the bose sound bar.

Its important to know which model mini box you have. The Cisco one will say "Cisco" on the front while the Evolution is branded "Cox" on the front.  Also, it helps to know what remote you have. Different remotes use different codes. The main way to tell them apart is how many digits are in the code. A 4 digit remote code won't work for a remote that is requesting a 5-6 code. Some codes are similar and a 4 digit code can become a 5 digit code by adding a 0, but that varies.

Here are some other codes I found;

Cisco Mini Boxes -Tivo - IR Input on back - 10104 (or 10014)

                                - Harmony Remote - IR Sensor - Choose DTA250HD

Evolution Mini Boxes - RCA - IR sensor - 54079

Or if you want to get dirty, see this and this post

The Bose remote I have is this one:

The Mini Box model is HD-uDTA-C. It does not say Cisco on it so I'm guessing it's the Evolution brand.

I will try the codes you provided above and see if they work. Thanks.

It seems that Cox is not responding with codes to anyone and has not for a long time. I will be interested to see if they respond to you question. I would like the remote code for an RCA universal remote as well.

Have your tried 54079? That post is from 10 months ago. After a month of inactivity it's locked and won't be updated, even if there are updates. They since followed up with Tivo, Harmony, RCA and several other manufactures.

I may be dense (okay, I definitely am dense) but it seems my remote will only allow me to enter a four digit code, so I haven't been able to use any of these five digit codes posted here.

Can you post the remote model number then? Should be on the back or maybe in the battery compartment. If RC-PWS II, try code 2740.
