Cox email - still receiving blocked sender.

Blocked several sender email addresses (and domains) but still receiving their spam.

The blocked addresses show up in settings: blocked senders listing. 

Double checked the addresses as listed and they are entered correctly. 

What's up with that?

Are you by chance using webmail?  The allow/block sender's feature is usually ineffective for controlling spam due to limits on how many blocked entries you can have and spammers forging email addresses.  The report as spam feature submits the spam emails to our system for review and potentially inclusion in the spam filtering process.
