Our new Contour system keeps sending "Sorry, there is currently no TV signal detected for this channel..." message for random channels. Please note that our CLIENT box has no problem accessing these "No signal" channels when the message appears on the MAIN DVR box. A reboot sometimes helps, but not always. This Whole Home DVR system was installed a month ago. The full message appears below. Why is this happening?
"Sorry, there is currently no TV signal detected for this channel. The channel may be temporarily off air. Please try again later. If the problem continues, please contact Cox Customer Service at (866) 961-1207. Reference 3.1.2.0 when calling. Alternatively, you can press the GUIDE button on your remote control to watch programs on other channels."

That code is designated for our switch digital channels. The steps you've tried should have restored them. Since you're still having problems, I suggest checking the connection. Is the cable straight from the wall to the receiver or is there a splitter? If so, I suggest bypassing the splitter. If there is not splitter, I suggest swapping the ends of the cable, so what's in the wall put in the receiver and vice versa.
If the problem continues, I suggest scheduling a technician to come out and get this resolved. We schedule 7 days a week in 2 hour time slots, 8-10, 10-12, 1-3, 3-5, and 5-7. Please email me at cox.help@cox.com with the best day and time and I will see if it's available.

I'm having the same issue at my girlfriends apartment. We just had a new cisco box installed and the lines checked for noise and all of the splitters were removed as far as the Cox guy told me. He did mention that there were a few bugs with the "switch digital" channels and that a patch would be forthcoming. Can you please let me know what the status is of this because when watching any of the premium channels and some others...this error pops up for a split second and distorts the image before returning back to normal seconds later.

I can only imagine how frustrating this must be for you and your family! Has your apartment manager or landlord addressed the internal wiring issue that we identified in August? Amplifying the signal won't help if the wiring within the home is impaired. If the landlord has completed repairs and you are still missing channels, we need to get a tech back out to you.

Some Cox markets received a Contour update last night! I'd like to confirm the location of your girlfriend's house so I can verifiy this for you. Please email my team at cox.help@cox.com so we can further investigate the issues she is having!
