COX cablecard tuner - never stops flashing

3 days ago I managed to activate a CableCard in my Tivo. The rep on the phone said that the flashing orange light on my tuner should eventually turn to solid, and they scheduled a call back for an hour. When they called back the light was still flashing - they said don't worry about it.

I appear to have all my channels, however some of them (namely TBS) never have channel information - every episode just says To Be Announced

Do I need to worry about the flashing light on my tuner?
