This is the best I can manage today. I don't know what's going on lately, but it's getting ridiculous.

It's definitely time to see what can be done about those signal levels. Are there any cable splitters you can try bypassing? Can you try the modem on another outlet and see if that helps?

That was straight in, no splitters and no outlets.

It looks like it may be time to arrange for a technician to come out and take a look. If you would like help with that email us at cox.help@cox.com so we may verify your account with you and see what options we have.

I did that before and they charged me $50 to fix their own cable coming off the pole. I think I'll just wait and see if it clears up on it's on. I can't wait til the phone outfits drop the data caps on 4G service. Then we will finally have a viable alternative to cable internet.

There's no charge for the visit if the problem is something outside of the home. If an inside problem is found there would be a $75 service fee however we do offer our Cox Service Protection Plan for a small monthly charge which would cover any inside wiring work that may need be done.

So you live in a single dwelling house with only 1 outlets and the coaxial going from the pole straight to the modem? No TV or phone? Do you have a ground in your house box? What kind of coaxial wiring is it?
Just saw this post of yours " I had my internet and TV work with no problems for two years using a cheap splitter, so I know it's not on my end." So that can't work with just one outlet. Like to try again?

The image that I posted was of the cable coming directly to the modem. Like to try being a jerk again?
