That's some really old information, Tiffany. The 1st gen Nexus 7 hasn't been on Jelly Bean (Android 4.2) for over a year. Last year it was upgraded to KitKat (4.4) and last month to Lollipop (5.0). From your FAQ page off the main Cox Contour page:
"The Contour app is also available on Google Nexus™ and Samsung Galaxy™ Tab 2 and Galaxy™ Tab 3 tablets running Android™ OS 4.2 or higher."
Lollipop 5.0 is definitely higher than Jelly Bean 4.2.
Just did a test ... did a fresh install of the Contour app from the Play Store on my 1G Nexus 7 running Lollipop 5.0. I was able to sign in with my main account id, select a Contour user and see the list of programs. As soon as I selected a show to watch, crash, the app crashed. Did this twice with 2 different shows and same result. Uninstalled the app as it is useless under Lollipop. I know there is an issue with video under 5.0 but thought is was only the 2nd gen N7 and was fixed in 5.0.1. Could it be the app doesn't run under ART, ART (Android Run Time) took over from Dalvik and is the only runtime available under Lollipop.
Thank you for your patience while we investigate this issue. Can you verify what version of the app that you currently have loaded? Please advise as we want to assist you with resolving the issue you're having.
