Contour Guide on my PC no longer shows local channels ?

As the title says, I no longer see any local channels (3-16 + 1003-1016) in the Contour Guide on my PC.  PS: it also does the same thing on my Cell phone.

Hi Storageman,

Are you utilizing the Contour App, or Contour 2 App? Is there any error message, or does the guide skip these channels altogether and continue from 17, 1017 onward?

The local channels (3-16, 1003-1016), are just missing.   They were there before.  If I fire up my TV's, all the channels are there.  I'am using the Contour II app on the phone and www.watchtv.cox.com on the PC. I don't use the phone to much, because even though its connected at home via WIFI and gets a 40 Mbps down load speed, the processor doesn't have enough HP to play videos consistently (lots of buffering).

Could it be the locals are not available for streaming on Contour and you must use their dedicated app?  I don't see the locals too but don't see a lot of other networks too like ESPN and YES.  I know CBS has a subscription service, All Access, which costs $6/mo.

I don't think the locals of any cox location stream on the apps at all.

Hi Everyone,

We're working to confirm the channels available for in-home live streaming via the Contour 2 app. We'll update you as soon as we can!

Its not only the Contour II App, its the "www.watchtv.cox.com" link on the net (some may call it a App but it isn't one".

The Cox TV Online portal, along with Cox TV Connect for PC and Mac, has been replaced with https://watchtv.cox.com. The Contour 2 app is now available for all Cox customers. The new watchtv.cox.com experience shares the Contour 2 user interface, and will ultimately have a channel lineup that matches each customer's TV subscription.

Currently, however, we are still in the process of adding local channels to the Contour 2 app and the new watchtv.cox.com experience. The San Diego channel lineup is expected to be complete by the end of February. Other Cox markets will soon follow, and customers can expect to see the online and Contour 2 app channel lineups increase until all channels are available to stream live (except for PPV and adult subscription channels).

Storageman and Glenncaz:
We were able to determine that several Phoenix local channels were activated prior to authorization. The channels will be added back to the lineup very soon. We don't have a launch date to share with you at this time, but we will let you know as soon as we are provided more information.

Prior to yesterday my watchtv.cox.com was able to access all of the same channels as my TV's and my mobile apps.  Now the mobile apps on android and iPad are still able to get the channels and just the watchtv.cox.com site is not.  I am in the Phoenix area and was told this was a temporary issue and would be resolved by today.  To clarify I can no longer view channels below 71 in just watchtv.cox.com, I have confirmed this issue in multiple browsers and on multiple computers.

Please respond asap, so I know how to proceed.

Hi landk,

We changed over to the new Contour 2 app and platform. Since the change, viewing live programming isn't supported by PC/MAC browsers at this time. It will be coming soon. You can use your log in on the Networks site and catch your favorite show. I apologize for the inconvenience.
