change appearance of log in screen
How can I change the appearance of the screen that pops up when I go to log in? I am tired of the flash videos of dancing with the stars, the weather notice, etc. I'm even tired of the blue borders. I'd rather have something like the Bing home page with a different photo each day, but I would settle for the same photo that I can change when I want to. The chat room said I can't can't change it. I hope they are wrong.

Hi Abra,
I believe you are referring to the www.cox.net home page. Is that correct? Unfortunately, there is no way to customize the Cox.net home page.
Are you logging in to check your WebMail? If so, try saving this link: https://idm.east.cox.net/coxlogin/ui/webmail to your desktop. It will take you straight to your WebMail Inbox.

yes, but cox really should give us options or at least they should update the appearance. It's been years.

Abra, the only way to change appearance and stop all the extra BS is use Firefox as a web browser and set Google or Igoogle as your home page. Then make sure you add Ad Blocker Plus as a add-on. That stops all those annoying popups. If your interested in what COX does everyday just set them as a bookmark.

First: Those aren't flash videos.
Second: The color scheme is Cox's colors, why would they do anything different?
Third: If you like Bing, use Bing.
Last: Why fix/change what isn't broken? There are millions of different sites out there that you can use as your homepage.
