CG3000D disconnects

I've noticed several posts on disconnects. As it happens, I've recently had an issue with this as well. It appears the modem is resetting (all lights go out, flash for a bit, then return). I also seem to get lag spikes during game play. Ping will run around 30m then spike to over 1Km; happened about 10 minutes ago and occurs multiple times (the disconnects) throughout the day. Suggestions?
