Can I get digital phone for less than $1.65/month ?

Is this an actual question or are you just venting? Also, have fun having your number sold to every telemarketer and having adware on your machine. Read your ToS. If you want free phone at least choose something decent, not that "As seen on TV" junk. Skype, Google Voice, and Ooma are just a few of choices that are much better IMO.

I only use it for my fax machine and I get no "junk calls". I don't have any malware on my machine as I don't use their software.  Its just connected to my network and works great for fax.  Agreed there are great services out there, I was just stating the over-marketing by Cox constantly hitting you up for their dumb digital phone service.

Its not just your number, but its every number you call too. I just would never do business with a company with such shady practices.
