Caller ID not displayed on TV
I've unplugged the modem for two minutes, let it reset, but TV still doesn't display caller ID

I was able to locate your account information and see that you have that service. We would need to do a little bit of trouble shooting for this issue. I would recommend unplugging the power to the receiver, wait about 2 minutes then plug it back in. Allow the box about 5 minutes to reload then access the menu. Switch the feature off then back on. Exit the menu and then place a test call to your home. Let us know if this helps.

I had the same problem once...nothing I did would fix it. Finally, Cox recycled my occurrence. I don't know what that means but it's working.

No, still nothing on TV. While you're at it - why doesn't the area code 480 show on my phone caller ID? Other area codes show, but my own (480) doesn't

If it's anything like the one on my corded phone, I programmed my area code into it when I got it (and whenever I change the batteries) and it has an option whether or not to show the area code. We transmit whatever digits are available along with whatever name data is available from the incoming carrier regardless of whether it's in the same area code or not. I would suggest checking if your Caller ID display has an option like that.
Generally we try to refresh the receiver's data then we try to reboot it, then if that fails we reprovision the receiver. On our side this completely reloads the service information for that serial number in the system, and on the receiver side this first temporarily sets the receiver to a basic service mode and then fully refreshes the services it should be receiving. It takes a while and if it fails it can knock out services that are working, so we go through the alternatives first.
The last thing we haven't done before reprovisioning is the basic post-refresh reboot, which we can do from here or you can do at your convenience at http://bit.ly/ResetYourCableConnection

My caller id on the TV stopped working on 13 Jan (according to the call log). I checked and I have it turned "on". I even tried turning it off and then back on. Anyh ideas?

Hi Lewp,
Have you tried unplugging the receiver, waiting 2 minutes, and then plugging it back in? If it's still not working, are you having this problem on all TVs? Does the feature work on your phone?
