Cable not working in all rooms
Hello,
I have just moved into a new residence I took my existing box to the new place' I set my cable modem and box off of the same the same line in the living room everything was fine. I recieved a hd cable box yesterday and set it up today with a flat screen I just got, Everything worked fine'
When I take the tv that was in the living room and hook it up to the cable in the other rooms the cable doesnt work.
I just get static. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you just have an outlet in that room that you have hooked to then not really. It sounds like that outlet is not hooked into the cable system in your home. You see this a lot when someone moves into a home. That outlet could have been used for satellite or the last resident did not use it at all and never knew or cared that it did not work. My suggestion to you is to call Cox and have them send a tech out to look at the outlet.
