cable modem

I am going to put a new modem on.  I have ordered a compatible modem which is both a cable and wifi modem.  Will I need to do anything special during the set up.  I noticed that the model and serial numbers of the current modem show up on my services.

I replaced my modem last month. I connected the new modem as directed in the instructions. I started my computer, opened my internet, logged into my Cox account and the new modem model popped up, I clicked on the model and everything started. I hope your new modem is as easy to set up as mine.
