cable channels
I hooked up the HD receiver to the new TV. Getting most of the channels. But a few of the local channels, like 3 and 5, and other channels like 41, 42, etc, are not coming in. What is the problem?

Most of us have no idea what's on "other channels like 41, 42, etc. " It would be easier if you gave us your state/city/zip code. This is a national forum.

Sorry about that. First time here. Las Vegas NV 89108. CH. 41 is TV Land. 42 is Food Network. CH 3-NBC local wont come in on regular station but will on HD Ch 1023. Thats a new LG. Just hooked up receiver to bedroom Vizio and had no problem getting all channels

I must be missing something. The same receiver that will not receive 3, 5, 41, and 42 when connected to the LG TV receives them fine when connected to the Vizio? How are you connecting them? Time for a service call from Cox.
