Bogus email from 'Cox Communications'!
Hey All,
This morning I received this email from some little puke posing as 'Cox Communications'. So BEWARE! BTW, Since Cox will not allow me to post this creep's full address in the 'from line', be advised it starts with 'bj65' followed by '@' then 'njit' followed by '.edu'. Hope this helps!

The key to identifying the scam is the "Dear Account Subscriber". Cox would never send you an email addressed that way. This allows the scammers to send out 5,000 per day.
Cox knows who you are and will address all emails to you personally.

Thanks for spreading the word about phishing attacks! Never provide username and password information via email to anyone, even it the email looks like it is coming from your bank, credit card company, or one of your other online accounts. Also, if you do receive an email from Cox that asks for personal information, please send to phishingreport@cox.net AS AN ATTACHMENT.
