Barefruit
My computer is generating thousands of UDP requests to Barefruit Ltd. Even when I have no network applications running - even when I have no applications open at all - it tries to send 5 to 10 requests per minute, 24/7. I am blocking them all, naturally, but I want to root out the trojan that's generating them. All fingers point at you, Cox. What did you do and how can I get rid of it?

"All fingers point at you"
And what fingers are those? You didn't include any data in your post. Sounds like malware to me. Or maybe's Cox DNS redirect? Try google DNS? Would help to know what port you are seeing the traffic and where it's routed to.

I was having a similar problem, and I whent to "open DNS", got their DNS addresses then you can uncheck the box for asign DNS automatically on your routers Internet set-up page and put the IP addresses that you got from open DNS in the boxes provided, it will get better. Open DNS dose not serve advertisements on their DNS servers.
