Bad internet service
I bought a brand new house 5 years ago and for 5 years I've had the worst problems with internet than I ever did when I lived in an apartment. Every month when I pay my bill for my internet I feel like once again Cox is taking my money because my internet seldom works. It's hit and miss everytime we turn on our computer. It's beginning to be a joke with my family and friends about how bad my internet service is but's not funny to me because I'm paying for horrible service. You know things are bad when you go to someone else's house or the library to use their internet BUT knowing you have your own internet that your paying for that doesn't work. Everytime we turn on our computer we have to turn off the netgear turn it back own and pray it works. I looked at my bill and 5 years ago I paid 19.99 for my internet and today I'm paying almost 50.00 dollars for the same thing but I'm getting bad service. Each time I get on the phone with cox for them to troubleshoot my internet it takes a good hour and sometimes it's resolved and sometimes its not. I'm getting really tired of this cox. It's soooo frustrating.

When you say the netgear, do you mean your router? Or do you have a Netgear gateway?
If its a router/gateway, when one computer cant get online, can others?
