Automatic Channel Change
When we had DirecTV there was a way to program the TV to change channels automatically. It's nothing to do with recording...only when watching live TV. If you were watching something and didn't want to depend on your own brain to change to a different show at the end, you could set the box to do it. (I had a hard time putting that into words!) Does Cox have such a feature?

It sounds like you are looking for a reminder timer. What type of box do you have?

She doesn't just want a reminder, she wants the box to actually change the channel for her. Contour: NO. Passport: I think so.
Odd that Contour lets you edit or delete a reminder timer, but has no provisions to actually set a timer. Strange. I'd say that this should be addressed, but there hasn't been an uproar over it.
