audio and video missing when turn on TV until change channel
I have noiticed for the last week or so when I turn on the DVR and TV I get a blank display until I change the channel and change it back.
The DVR guide will display fine over the blank channel. Once I change the channel and then change it back everything seems to work fine.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Does this happen on the mini box, the DVR, or both? Also, do you get an error message?

Try leaving the DVR tuned to a non-SDV channel when you turn your TV off. Also, are you connected to your TV via HDMI?

It is on the Cisco two tuner DVR.
Yes, connected via HDMI cable.

Is the DVR connected directly to the TV? And do you happen to know the model of the TV? Sounds like a HDCP issue. Odd that the guide would come up. Do you get audio?
First thing I would try is a new/different HDMI on a different port on your TV.

It is going through a HDMI switch, nothing has changed hardware wise in months.
