57dBmV upstream

A couple of months ago, the cable drop to my house was replaced for issues with internet resets.  After that was done, the upstream power improved to the low 40 range, but infrequently would raise to the low 50s.  Lately it has been almost constantly at 57dBmV, and on very rare occasions it improves to the mid 40s. I suspect the problem is outside of my house.  Could the connections in my area be checked?

 I don't know if it is related at all, but this seemed to happen around the time my speed was increased.
