Where do my recordings go?

This is the second time I’ve had to have my DVR box replaced. I asked the technician that came out if there was a way to get my recordings off the box he was taking, and he told me that they should be in the cloud...? I was never informed there was a cloud that records my shows. And after my first box was taken away my recordings never came back. Any help would be appreciated.

    For Cloud DVR capability, this will require receivers with IPTV capabilities, and the DOCSIS 3.1 Panoramic WiFi modem (this acts as the host). The content is no longer stored on a receiver hard drive but on the cloud network. In other words, if you swap out receivers you will not have to worry about losing content. Watching Live TV, On Demand or DVR recordings from client devices (phones, tablets, laptops) do not count against your internet data usage. In other words, the Cloud DVR content can now be accessed through the Contour app. Here's some additional information about our Wireless 4k Contour streamers:
