Ip install
New home new install. They did an ip install. Cable modem unscrambles channels. Having some glitch issues with boxes rebooting. Thoughts vs traditional qam install?

The cable modem doesn't unscramble the channels, it provides access for the cable box to unscramble the channels. Basically, the boxes talk through the cable modem, instead of directly through the cable.

You're referring to the wireless 4K streaming box? I don't like the idea of having to rent the Panoramic to have the 4K streamer. If you can rent a traditional (coaxial) box and get your own Internet gear, it'd be one less thing to rent...and have as a problem.
