service outage, are you going to prorate today?

My cox has been out all day. Are you going to prorate my bill or give me a free month or something? Also, that Oliver service rep guy is really dumb, I don't see why you hired him.

Just curious by out do you mean you have no service or is it just degraded?  I have Cox Fiber FTTH and the 1Gbps service and I noticed my service severly degraded today.  Just wondering if that is what you are seeing or do you not have any internet service at all?

Its degraded, I normally get around 940Mbps download speed and similar upload speeds and now I barely get 500Mbps down and tonight its struggling to get 200Mbps down and 100Mbps up.  This degraded service started. today.  I tested my speed connected directly to the PON to confirm my degraded service. 

I've had FTTH for about 10 years from COX and this is the first time I've ever seen this level of degraded service.

LOL, I already have a tech coming out on Wednesday to troubleshoot.  I doubt emailing cox would do much good.
